Safety is taken very serious at DC Mechanical. Safety is everyone’s job at DC Mechanical because we believe everyone is entitled to a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.

Our industry-leading safety programs create job sites where safety for everyone- the general public impacted by our projects, our employees. And the employees or our project partners- is paramount.

To go beyond talking about safety to truly creating it, we developed programs which place a top priority on safety. From thorough and ongoing education sessions to awards and incentives, our Team remains vigilant about safety- and our record is a testament to our success.

Every project has unique safety aspects, which is why we engage our employees in project-specific safety programs. By bringing together project teams to plan and organize safe work sites, we ensure all work completed by our employees is performed in a safe and productive manner. Some highlights of our program include:

  • Safety kick-off meetings to strategize and minimize potential safety hazards;

  • Daily job hazard analysis reviews to detail specific and emerging safety issues;

  • A Comprehensive training program for all employees provides tools and the understanding needed to work safely;

  • All field supervisors and project managers have completed the OSHA 30-hour safety training;

  • All field and office employees are required to pass a new hire drug test as well as being called for periodic random testing.
